FOREX or currency foreign exchange market is the largest and oldest financial market in the world. It is also called the foreign exchange market, or “FOREX” or “FX” market for short. It is the market where currencies from around the globe are traded. In other words, the currency of one country is exchanged for those of another. The investment profits come from well known “buy low – sell high”.

Price movements on the FOREX market are very smooth and without gaps that you face almost every morning on the stock market. The daily turnover on the FOREX market is about $1.2-2.0 trillion, that is why its the most liquid market in the world. Transactions on the FOREX market are fulfilled by dealers at major banks or FOREX brokerage companies 24 hours a day so this market never sleeps.

Most of beginner FOREX traders are starting their trading without any clue so they start looking some trustable guide to lead their way climbing the golden mountain of FOREX. Some may success, and other may not. So now comes up the question ‘do i need to take a FOREX course or not?’…Nowadays, there are a lot of people (usually an expert FOREX traders) and companies (brokers or another financial services) offering a package of FOREX course to public — especially new comers in FOREX trading. How to choose the right one? First of all you should remember that there is no best course in FOREX trading. Every course has its own pros and cons compared to another. But a good FOREX course is the one that covers all three types of people learning characteristic which are verbal, visual and motion, i.e by giving a package of reading, visual teaching and some interactive forum.

FOREX market is so vast and has so many participants that no single entity, even a central bank, can control the market price for an extended period of time. But FOREX brokers can. Before you start with FOREX trading you must have a broker. A currency broker can make his own prices. If you would open two accounts at two different brokers then you would notice that you will get two different prices for the same buy or sell. But be careful choosing the right FOREX broker because this market is not regulated like the other financial markets. There are FOREX brokers that do not play correctly cause they are allowed to trade against their customers.
